Dr. Markus Mau Professor of Business Management | Logistics & Sustainability Expert | ELA President Dr. Mau serves as President of the European Logistics Association (ELA), Europe’s largest logistics network with 55,000+ members across 20 countries. He has represented Germany for over 15 years in the global development of ISO sustainability standards.

 

He is a seasoned industry expert with consulting experience at PwC, IBM Global Services, and over 20 years as cofounder of MAU Consulting, advising corporations with a combined turnover of over $100 billion. He is also cofounder of the international mobility start-up Smart City Concepts. Currently, Dr. Markus Mau a lifetime professorship at the Research-University of Sopron (founded 1735) and is a recognized voice in sustainable supply chains, with over 70 academic publications and two bestselling logistics/supply Chain book in German. Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin graduated from Saint Michel French High School in 1987 and Istanbul University Faculty of Economics in 1991. He completed his postgraduate studies at Istanbul University in 1993, earned his doctorate from the same university in 1996, became an associate professor in 1997, and a full professor in 2002.

Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin, who served as the Presidential Advisor of the Istanbul Stock Exchange (İMKB) between 1999 and 2003, and as the General Secretary of the Turkish Exporters Association (TİM) and a member of the Tax Council in 2000, has also worked at Çukurova Holding, Doğan Holding, Anadolu Holding, and Altınbaş Holding. He has written economic columns for various newspapers, provided economic commentary on television channels such as TV8, SKYTÜRK, A HABER, CNNTURK, TRTHABER, and TV100, and is a columnist for Dünya Newspaper.

From 2011 to 2021, Alkin served as the Vice Rector of Altınbaş University. He has also been a Board Member of Göztepe Sportif A.Ş., a sports club in İzmir, and the General Secretary of the Turkish Football Federation. Between 2017 and 2019, he served as an Independent Board Member of Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş.

2024- He continues to write articles in Turkish for "What Kind of Economy?" and in English for "Tomorrow's Affairs" magazine. He also hosts the "Alkin and Yet" program on Ekotürk.

Appointed as Rector of Istanbul Topkapı University in October 2021, Alkin participates in national and international studies on "Conflict Resolution" between companies and the public sector. He has worked in international companies related to Payment Systems, Mobile Technologies, Finance, and Financial Matters.

Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin has authored several books on various topics, including "Risk Management," "The Evolution of Financial Intermediation," "Introduction to Risk Management in Banks," "Gaziantep from Past to Present" (co-authored with Yalın Alpay), "It's Not All About Economics," "We Couldn't Not Share," "The Art of Fikret Mualla," and "Turkish Economy Through Events," which was selected as the best business book of 2017, with one of them in English. His book "I Cheated Willingly," which explores the evolution of human relationships from the past to the present, was also a bestseller in 2017. His first novel, "The Woman Seeking Perfection," published in September 2018, also garnered significant attention.His book "Exiting Economics," published in November 2019, was very well received, and all proceeds were donated to the Happiness Address Social Solidarity Association. All proceeds from his book "Re-entering Economics," published in March 2022, were donated to the Topkapı University Student Clubs. The proceeds from his book "Adding Value to Your Life," published in 2023, were donated to the children at the Darüşşafaka Society. His book "Alternative Economics" was published in November 2024. In 2025, he co-authored "Economics for Everyone Again" with Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Alkin and Prof. Dr. Kerim Alkin, and also published his book "The Economics of Self-Interest" independently in the same year.

With deep roots in the manufacturing and logistics industries, Igor combines strategic thinking with hands-on understanding of how systems and teams operate. Over the years, he has led numerous projects in business process redesign, the 20 Keys methodology, performance acceleration, IT implementation and digital transformation. Drawing from this experience, he developed his own 5Δ® method, a practical framework that empowers companies to drive lasting change and continuous improvement and own cloud based »DELTA4pro« software for better project management.
He is a frequent speaker at business conferences, seminars and round tables and actively contributes to European and regional development projects.
As President of the Slovenian Logistic Association and a Board Member of the European Logistics Association, Igor plays an active role in advancing the logistics and supply chain field at both national and European levels.
Since its beginning in 2012, he has been the Chair and driving force behind the International Logistics Congress, the leading regional platform that annually brings together over 700 managers, experts and decision-makers from logistics, supply chain, transport, industry and technology. Under his leadership, the Congress has grown into a respected professional community where people share challenges, exchange experience and best practices and, most importantly, build partnerships and new business opportunities that strengthen logistics across the region.
 

Mirek Rumler is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration, specializing in International Trade Economics, at the University of Economics and Business in Prague. He began his professional career at Inspekta AG, a company specializing in quality control in international trade, where he gained extensive experience in international trade, quality management, and collaboration with foreign partners.
In the course of his career, he completed postgraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA), after which he worked as an external consultant for The Limited Distribution Services Ltd. in Columbus, Ohio (USA). Upon his return to the Czech Republic, he held the position of Country Operations Manager at Maccorp Holdings Ltd., headquartered in London, where he was responsible for managing operational activities in the CEE market.
At present, he works at RELIANT Ltd., where he serves as Managing Partner and CEO. Throughout his career, he has led consulting projects focused on the implementation of management systems, process optimization, and efficiency improvements in transportation, logistics, and freight forwarding companies. At the same time, he has long been involved in the preparation and implementation of national and international research and innovation projects.
He is currently responsible for the strategic management of RELIANT and the development of its key activities in the areas of consulting, training, and the organization of professional conferences, workshops, and networking events focused on logistics, transportation, and supply chain management.
His professional activities also play a significant role in his career. He serves as the President of the Czech Logistics Association and Vice President of the European Logistics Association. Thanks to his active involvement in both professional organizations, he has an extensive network of contacts among experts, businesses, and research institutions, which significantly contributes to the dissemination of research findings, their validation in practice, and promotion of their future implementation.
 

Yann de Feraudy is Co-chairman of the board of France Supply Chain by Aslog, France largest association of Supply Chain professionals and Vice President of the European Logistic Association (ELA), he also is a Non Executive Director on the board of the FM Logistic group.
Yann graduated from ESSEC, began his career at Danone, spent 10 years in consulting before spending 30 years in operational roles for Kuehne & Nagel and cosmetic company Rocher Group where he was Deputy CEO for Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT until mid 2023.
Yann is a recognized expert in Supply Chains, their ESG and Tech challenges for a strategic impact on company value creation.

Born in Mersin in 1981, he completed his primary and secondary education in Mersin before continuing his studies in Ankara, graduating from Hacettepe University.

The "Intermodal Transportation and Logistics Centers" Program in Spain in 2013,

Hasan BOZ began his professional career at Ankara University in 2003 and started working at the Ministry of Transportation in December 2004.

For many years, he has worked within the Ministry on international agreements and conventions, international road transport, permits/transit documents, logistics and logistics centers, border crossing management, and digitalization processes in transportation.

In January 2020, he was appointed as Department Head at the General Directorate of Transportation Services Regulation of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure; during this period, he played an active role in the implementation of projects on international relations and international transport, as well as digital transformation in transportation (e-Permit, e-CMR, digitalization of UBAK permit documents, e-Government services, etc.), and continued his work in the fields of transportation corridors, intermodal/combined transport, road transport legislation, mobility, and sustainable transportation.

He was appointed as Deputy General Director by the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette on November 19, 2025, and currently holds this position.

Hasan BOZ, who is fluent in English, is married and has two children.

Director General of the Union of Transport and Logistics Organizations and Associations “KAZLOGISTICS”

Talgat Tuyakovich Lesov is a transport and logistics executive with more than 35 years of professional experience in railway transportation, logistics, asset management, and corporate governance.

He graduated from the Almaty Institute of Railway Transport Engineers with a degree in Railway Transportation Process Management Engineering. In 2010, he received a PhD in Technical Sciences.

Since September 2026, Mr. Lesov has served as Director General of KAZLOGISTICS. Previously, he held the positions of Advisor to the Director General and Acting Director General of KAZLOGISTICS.

Throughout his career, he has held senior management positions in major transport and railway organizations in Kazakhstan, including Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), Kaztransservice, Passenger Transportation, Remlokomotiv, and Kaztemirtrans.

His professional expertise includes the organization of freight and passenger transportation, tariff policy, rolling stock and asset management, transport infrastructure development, and strategic management.

Mr. Lesov also has extensive experience in corporate governance, having served as Chairman and member of the Boards of Directors and Supervisory Boards of major transport and industrial companies in Kazakhstan.

For his longstanding contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s transport, railway, and industrial sectors, Mr. Lesov has received a number of state and industry awards, including the “Honorary Railway Worker” badge and the “???????? ?????? ???????” (“Honorary Machine Builder”) badge, recognizing his longstanding contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s railway, machine-building, and transport sectors.

MUKHIDOV AKRAM ANVAROVICH

Expert in international transport corridors, logistics infrastructure, and public-private partnerships.
A senior executive with extensive experience in public administration, foreign trade, transport, and logistics. Possesses expertise in reforming the transport and logistics sector, implementing international infrastructure projects, and coordinating with international development organizations and financial institutions (such as the World Bank, IFC, ADB, USAID, and GIZ).

An experienced manager and entrepreneur with over 20 years of business and management experience, including the development of transportation-logistics and tourism companies.
Since 2007, he has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of U.B.S. Transit JSC, a large transportation and logistics company operating within a multi-sector holding company. The company operates in the field of international freight transportation between Turkey, China, Central Asia, CIS countries and other destinations.
He has extensive practical experience in company building and development from scratch, strategic management, building management teams, optimizing business processes, personnel motivation, technical modernization and increasing operational efficiency.
He has participated in international projects and working groups in the fields of logistics, trade, vocational training and facilitating trade in Central Asia, including projects supported by USAID and GIZ.

Beginning his professional career in 1999, Mr. Türk held various positions at Başak Hayat Sigorta, Ülker Group of Companies, and CEVA Logistics before joining Turkish Airlines (THY A.O.) in 2011. In 2012, he continued his career as Chief Cargo Officer.

Mr. Ali Türk joined Turkcell in May 2016 and, from March 2017 to December 2023, served as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain Management, where he was responsible for procurement, logistics, leasing, contract data management, right-of-way processes, construction, and real estate operations for Turkcell and its group companies.
