The Logistics Service Providers Association (LojiDer) was founded on October 30, 2023.

October 30, 2023, is a very significant date for LojiDer. One hundred years ago, on October 29, 1923, the Republic of Turkey was declared by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades, and on October 30, 1923, the parliament held its first meeting. October 30, 2023, marks the first day of the second century of the Republic of Turkey, which has existed for 102 years on the solid foundations of Atatürk's ideology and will continue to exist forever.
 

Established to serve our country's economy, social life, and our sector, to support its development and progress, and to leave lasting legacies in the second century of the century-old Republic of Turkey, LojiDer brings together all service providers who shape the concept of logistics internationally and nationally under one roof, and is based on a culture of acting with common sense. As of December 31, 2025, the number of members of LojiDer has reached 454 corporate firms.
 

Representing the logistics services carried out in all 81 provinces of our country, both nationally and internationally, LojiDer has members in 35 provinces.
 

LojiDer members represent every aspect of logistics services. Corporate firms providing services in order management, warehousing, inventory management, value-added services (packaging, labeling, barcoding, etc.), terminal services (inspection, expertise, supervision, securing and lashing, fumigation, container lining), customs, insurance, and transportation (road, sea, rail, air) and holding at least one authorization certificate are LojiDer members.
 

LojiDer members' contribution to the national economy in 2025 is approximately 4 billion US dollars, and they provide employment for approximately 20,000 people. 22% of this employment is for women, and a total of 17 female drivers are employed.
 

LojiDer became a member of the European Logistics Association – ELA on February 19, 2024. Founded in 1984, ELA (European Logistics Association) accepted LojiDer's membership application, representing Turkey's logistics sector, after 40 years. LojiDer also became the first NGO from Türkiye to become a member of TAPA (Turkish Association of Freight Forwarders), an organization with a 26-year history and structured in three regions worldwide, in 2024.
 

Our country holds an important place and value within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). LojiDer was also the first NGO from Türkiye to become a member of the Logistics Centers and Freight Forwarders Union, established on June 28, 2024, within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
 

Cooperation protocols have been signed with logistics associations and unions from the main OTS member countries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan, and future plans have been made through visits to Baku, Almaty, and Tashkent.
 

LojiDer continues its work as the first and only NGO in our country to simultaneously hold seats in 4 working groups at the United Nations European Economic Commission (UNECE).
 

Collaboration with our universities, which train the human resources of the logistics sector, is one of the priority issues for LojiDer. To this end, cooperation protocols have been signed with 20 universities in our country, and one university each in the UK and Kazakhstan, and joint work and events have been organized. Similarly, a cooperation protocol has been signed with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education to support and develop logistics education provided in Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools.
 

The Logistics Service Providers Association, with its culture and ideal of working together with NGOs, public and local institutions and organizations operating in both the logistics sector and other sectors, aims to create a strong logistics ecosystem. By working for the development of the logistics sector and being a member of regional and global organizations, it continues to add value to its members, our sector, and the national economy with the slogan "Logistics professionals say!"
